Appointment Information
Treatments are individualised for every clients needs and comfort levels.
My approach is focused on understanding your needs and providing practical solutions. Appointments consist of consultation, treatments and aftercare including stretches to help further release tight muscles.
Treatments may include
Neuromuscular Therapy -(Deep Tissue)
specific muscle work, tendon and joint work, for therapeutic release. this improves muscle condition, allowing for more movement and less pain.
Relaxation massage uses slow and gentle movements designed to increase blood flow gradually allowing the client to relax and enjoy. Great for stress relief and those who like softer pressure.

Trigger point release -
bands of tension in the muscles that when triggered cause referred pain patterns. Like headaches and migraines.
MET (muscle energy techniques) - stretches done both passively and with resistance to gain better relief and flexibility, specific stretches are often demonstrated and given as aftercare for maintaining at home.
Chair Massage-
massage on a specialised chair for those who cannot lie flat. Also available for corporate and mobile massage over the clothes.
Ice and/or Heat therapy-
used to increase blood flow and relieve swelling and aid in muscle release
Pregnancy massage available on request
Sports Massage
Sports massage is used to flush lactic acid and toxins from your tissues to promote faster recovery and healing times, also good for pre and post activity and maintaining muscle tone.

Myofascial release
Myofascial release- all our muscles are wrapped by connective tissue called fascia, it is made of the same tissue as tendons and ligaments, it is also all through every muscle, by performing stretches on the fascia we can release the binding around each muscle to gain an effective and lasting release for the muscles.

Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a very light therapy used to reduce swelling and fluid build-up such as lymph oedema, by using slight pressure we do NOT increase blood flow (as that only makes it worse) instead it moves only the extra fluid back into the bloodstream relieving pressure on sore swollen joints.
